In addition to all the large pieces of equipment and product needed to complete your decorative concrete jobs, there are a multitude of other miscellaneous items required to get the job done—everything ranging from disposable masking plastic to a backpack pump sprayer.

At Superior Decorative, in addition to renting out equipment such as stamps and polishers, we also have a variety of other materials available for rent or purchase. Don’t see what you need in the list below? Contact us to find out if we can get it in stock.

Disposables

  • Caution tape for blocking off areas during the installation, drying, or curing process.
  • Duct tape to secure or patch plastic coverings during a job. (Important: Do not apply duct tape to the surface of the concrete.)
  • Eyedroppers for applying very small amounts of stain or other coloring system to an area with lots of details.
  • Masking plastic to protect surfaces from overspray, splatter, or other damage during the installation process.
  • Painter’s tape for clean edges and marking lines.
  • Plastic booties to avoid tracking footprints onto surfaces during or after installation.
  • Sea sponges for adding textured or mottled effects.

Tools

  • Acid brushes for applying stain to the surface.
  • Boots/shoes with grip to ensure stability when walking on top of wet or slick concrete.
  • Brushes to apply product on detailed or tight areas.
  • Cotton mop head to efficiently clean up dirt or debris.
  • Diamond pads to create a high-gloss finish.
  • Dust-collection bags to collect dust created during the grinding process.
  • Extension cords to run power tools on job sites.
  • Floor scrapers for hard-to-remove residue, coatings, or debris when prepping surface for decorative applications.
  • Freehand engraving tool to add custom designs or details onto concrete.

  • Sandpaper for use in places where machines cannot maneuver.
